Brenna Barber

Brenna believes using global resources efficiently will advance the health of all species. 

Working locally to achieve this, she has a particular focus in linking welfare of people and animals. She has added environmental management to her veterinary portfolio, offering a multi-disciplinarian approach to rural and conservation enhancement. 

Brenna's broad skill base includes animal health and productivity, welfare, behaviour, herd hoof health, farm business performance and nutrient budgeting. She creates rapport in a team to facilitate effective communication of ideas and vision. Her experience as a farmer, small block holder and conservation volunteer adds to her pursuit of the outdoor life, and she is keen to develop novel land use strategies that align with our unique New Zealand landscape.
